Capturing movement has been an obsession over the history of man. Whether for scientific research or art practice we use technology to help us visualise this.
From Eadweard Muybridge’s photographic sequence The Horse in Motion 1878, Marcel Duchamp's dada installation The Bicycle Wheel 1913 to modern artworks like slit scan works by Gloan Levit and Motion tracking works by Daito Manabe we see this documentation of movement a historic expression and progression of the human rhetoric.
