In honour of the Euro 2016 Final (won by Portugal), adidas Consortium and Starcow reworked the adidas Samba.
Starcow is a Parisian streetwear boutique originating in 2001 in Paris’ banlieue (suburbs / outskirts), and the banlieue actually plays a huge part in Starcow’s mission and aesthetic. Starcow doesn’t easily forget its roots, as they believe that “the multi-culturally diverse banlieues are the areas of the metropolitan Paris where skate, football, hip-hop, and wider street culture are all allowed to thrive, providing the city with its own unique grassroots culture.” Starcow recently teamed up with adidas Consortium to bring its Parisian cultural influences and colourful past to the iconic Samba trainer. The trainer is both stylish and timeless, perfect for running through any given Parisian arrondissement, or for any other city, really.
adidas Consortium kicks are available at select adidas retail outlets, and exclusive external retailers such as J-01 in Hong Kong.
