Alessandro Dell’Acqua has been on the fashion scene since the mid ‘90s, with his eponymous line. His first women’s prêt-à-porter collection dates back to 1996, where he premiered at Milan Moda Donna. His first men’s, back to January 1998 with Pitti Uomo. After many years of great success in Europe for his line, Dell’Acqua took a brief hiatus, and was then appointment the creative director of Italian luxury knitwear brand Malo in 2009. This saw him return to Milan Fashion Week for the Spring 2009 season. Following another hiatus, just about three years ago, he returned to the fashion spotlight when he launched N°21, a feminine yet dynamic womenswear line, which now has a men's counterpart as well. N°21 is praised as Dell’Acqua’s best work yet.
