Ren Hang was the leading light in Chinese contemporary photography; the artist, unfortunately, has left us at the age of 29. Hang made waves internationally for his work, which primarily dealt with nude portraiture as he used his friends as models. Although his work was censored in China, Hang had held solo shows in China while exhibiting in groups around the world. More recently, he had contributed to Frank Ocean's Boys Don't Cry zine. He was pure magic lending us a view of his world through his lens and will be truly missed.
