Just in time for the weekend, we're bringing in Louisiana's finest kicks store, Sneaker Politics and their most recent collaboration with Adidas Consortium to the Kong. It's a nod to the King of the Carnival as people from around the world flock to New Orleans to celebrate Mardi Gras. For such a colorful occasion, the Gazelle model is woven through with signature krewe colors of purple (for justice), green (for faith), and gold (for power) with a cream base and suede touches.
Sneaker Politics was first opened in 2016, playing a pivotal role in putting the Pelican State on the sneaker map. It's their first collaboration with the three stripes, marking a historical moment in heritage and modern technological innovation.
