The king of wild and quirky designs, creative director of Moschino, and head of his eponymous brand – Jeremy Scott – will be celebrated by the fashion world with a retrospective of his work set to open in Dallas in 2017. Scott caught his first big break in the ‘90s through a collaboration with infamous Icelandic weirdo and style icon Björk, but his career really took off with the launch of his funky eponymous line in the 2000s, where his pieces were worn in music videos by the likes of Rihanna and Britney Spears. He then went on to collaborate with adidas and Linda Farrow, to name just a few. He presented his first collection as creative director of Moschino in 2014.
The retrospective at the Dallas Contemporary Museum will exhibit Scott’s outfits as works of art starting early 2013.
Jeremy Scott is available at D-mop in Hong Kong.
