Last week, Stella McCartney revealed the new promotional short film for her fragrance, POP. Recently, McCartney has been advocating animal-friendly fragrances, and this video represents just that. The newest face of her campaign, animal activist Kenya Kinski-Jones, is the star of the short film. The dreamy, grainy film, with retro nods, features Kenya reciting that “POP represents the spirit of being in the moment, unapologetic about who you are.” With Kenya as the face of the campaign, the video proudly advocates that McCartney’s fragrances are not tested on animals. On Stella McCartney’s official Instagram account, she proudly dubbed Kenya her “animal activist sister.” Kenya Kinski-Jones’ work in animal activism spreads from her experience as an avid horseback rider to her affiliations with the non-profit organization Last Chance for Animals.
Kinski-Jones is just one of the faces of the new POP campaign, alongside quirky Canadian synthpop musician Grimes and Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon.
Stella McCartney is available exclusively at D-mop in Hong Kong.
