SPOONYARD presents its Spring/Summer 2023 new collection, this season, the brand takes inspiration from a Scandinavian lifestyle – friluftsliv (outdoor life), shot by Photographer’s Ben Benoliel and Videographer’s Hollie Galloway, the campaign captured the natural lake and mountain at Buttermere and Windermere in England.
A philosophy of being connected with nature, a valuable act of spending time in outdoor location to enhance one’s spiritual and physical well-being. Friluftsliv was popularised in the 1850s by the Norwegian playright and poet, Henrik Ibsen, who used the term to describe the value of spending time in remote locations for spiritual and physical wellbeing. Friluftsliv describes a lifestyle based on a deep profound connection with the nature, through any form of outdoor activity.
