A few days ago, PUMA and Rihanna shared the first images of their new creeper and its upcoming colourways. In a follow-up to Rihanna’s Instagram teaser posting only a silhouette of the shoe, the duo have finally released official images of what the shoe will look like. Now, the shoe is scheduled to drop at select retailers starting tomorrow. The featured colourways, an all-white patent leather “Basket Creeper Glo,” a “Black Satin,” and a deep “Green-Bordeaux” with the classic thick sole in its original rubber rusted brown colour. Bringing something fresh to this summer’s sneaker circuit, the thick-soled creepers bridge the gap between sportswear and punk silhouettes. Inspired by the rockabilly aesthetic of the ‘80s and ‘90s, Rihanna wanted to bring a darker flair to this season’s PUMA collaboration, reflecting her latest album ANTI.
The creeper is set to drop beginning May 26th at select retailers worldwide, including j-01 in Hong Kong, and Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s in the US.
