Another anniversary edition, Reebok has chosen to team up with Japanese retailer Beams for their 40th anniversary. The product of their collaboration is both asymmetric and colourblocked. The eye-catching trainer was originally released last year, celebrating the Instapump trainer’s 20th anniversary. Last year’s shoe featured two different gray colourways – one meant for each foot. This year’s colourway, for the “Crazy” edition, proves to be more colourful. One foot is more of a royal blue theme, while the other is light gray. The one way in which they are similar to last year’s is the consistent white thick rubber sole.
Another Instapump fury collaboration last year was the JAPAN x Reebok trainer. The most monochromatic of all the Instapump kits, this one was mostly black with only a white sole and minor white detailing with a skull motif at the back of the heel. This year, Reebok has decided to stick to a colourblocked approach.
