ASICS just re-released their Slam Jam x ASICS Gel Lyte III 6th parallel edition.
Together with Italian streetwear label Slam Jam, ASICS has made their Gel Lyte III even more bold and colourful than previous editions. The trainer features hues of both dark gray and light gray on the upper area, with a mix of suede, leather, and mesh materials. Pops of colour brighten the gray hues, like the inner lining landing in bright orange, and the laces and heel featuring a bold teal. The midsole is gradient, evening out the colour bursts and the vibrancy of the trainer in general. The trainer is branded with ASICS on the heel, and Slam Jam on the heel counter, signifying their collaboration.
The shoe has been noted to be a sequel to ASICS’ 5th Dimension collaboration back in 2010.
The collaboration has officially dropped at all select ASICS retailers worldwide as of yesterday, and can be copped in Hong Kong at J-01.
