A few days ago, Marcelo Burlon revealed his County of Milan Spring Summer 2017 men’s collection. The runway showed, from start to finish, a return to Burlon’s initial dark, underground, and urban aesthetics. The garments themselves featured rather monochromatic, deep colourways that only ranged from black, to grays, and Bordeaux-hued reds. Burlon, who is known to DJ on the side of his designing, often cites music and soundwaves as his main influences when creating. Fittingly, this entire collection was openly dedicated to the power of music. The runway featured a live soundtrack, and a number of the collection's garments were printed or embroidered with the word Sonido, meaning sound in Burlon’s native Spanish.
Marcelo Burlon County of Milan is available at select retailers worldwide, including Colette in Paris, 10 Corso Como in Milan, Seoul, Shanghai, and Beijing, and D-mop in Hong Kong.
